April 30
I was returning home after a day of work when I checked my mail and
I saw the envelope that I had been waiting almost 2 months for.

So I grabbed the envelope and ran up my stairs threw all my stuff on the ground (including my laptop case....oops) and ripped the envelope open.  I started
looking at the sheet inside looking for my results.  I thought it would either say congratulations or sorry, thanks for coming out.  But I found it was a generic
letter saying if you got over 3.20 out of 5.00 then you have passed.  So I frantically searched the page for my score.  It had a couple of columns that listed each section of the test and how I did on each one.  I found the bottom of the column to see my score.  3.98 out of 5.00.  Not too shabby.
At the information session the Sargent said that since there is such a drive for recruits right now any score over 3.20 would go on to the next stage.  So when I saw that I had passed that mark I knew that I would move on.

What a stress release that was, it ended the nervousness of opening my own mailbox.   Now I could finally tell people that I was moving on instead of telling them that I am waiting for the results.   But the waiting game is still in full swing, now I am waiting to find out when I have to run the PARE (Physical Abilities Requirement Evalutation).  The wait continues.............
