| G - Hi there. H - Hello? G - Yes? H - Hi, my name is Heather. G - Hi Heather. H - I'm from St. Louis, Missouri. G - Well, you're not too far from where I am in a cave. H - And I want to talk about a dream that I have every full moon. G - What kind? H - Well, I'm running through an open field and air is brushing through my FUR and then when I wake up, I end up having dirt all over myself and one time I had leaves in my hair. G - *laughs* And so do you think you're sleepwalking or do you think you turn into some kind of animal? H - I think I turn into a wolf cause I -- G - Now what makes you say that? H - Cause I'm fascinated with wolves! Fascinated with them. G - Interesting. Now you're 13, but we got permission from your father to talk to you, didn't we? H - Yep. G - OK. Fascinated, always have been fascinated by wolves? H - Mh-mh, yep. G - What does your dad say about this? H - He's had weird dreams too. So, it's equal. G - Does he think he's a wolf? H - Uh-uh (no), he's fascinated with rabbits. My sister's fascinated with dragons. G - You've got a whole family that are animals. H - Yep. G - Now, how often do you get this...? Does it like happen during a full moon or just once -- ? H - Yeah, every single full moon. G - Every full moon you get this feeling, this funny dream, and then you have this evidence when you wake up in the morning? H - Mh-mh (yes), but I wash it off. *laughs* G - What other things have you done as a wolf? H - I'm usually just running and smelling stuff. I never hunt. *laughs* G - So you don't attack people or anything like that? H - No, no. G - Or eat animals? H - No. I stay clear of animals and people. G - Well, that's good. But you're out there in the woods somewhere? H - Mh-mh (yes) G - Well, give me a wolf howl. I want to see how good you might be. H - *laughs* I don't even know how to do it. G - It's the only way for us to find out for sure if you're a wolf or not. H - Oh, ok. *howls* G - You know what? H - What? G - I think you're a wolf. H - *laughs* Thank you. G - Alright, take care. I think you're a wolf. |
