Army Bans Use of Privately Bought Armor
reads the headline of an Associated Press article by Lolita C. Baldor on 03/30/06

sent to war and they swore no cost ought
to be spared guardsmen gave budget thought
military wore under clothes
bullet proof to foil foes she knows
suitcase filled with ceramic skin bought

public cry reaches ears write the bill
give them money to protect them still
can you deny make them die
take it back spread the lie
test not done have we won ban will kill

wisdom leads soldier needs body armor
colonel Spoehr supports sham a snake charmer
bullet hits feel the chill
pain will grow take a pill
can this policy still further harm her?
