January 2001 and the engine is finally together at the performance shop.I had the blocked bored 30 over and fitted with the new pistons.I file fit the rings and the owner of the shop put the short block together and degreed in the FORD MOTORSPORT solid cam that I picked up still new in the box for $75.  I assembled the cylinder head and installed the heads onto the block. I did as much of the assembly as possible to save money and had the shop do the critical parts of the assembly that required the precision machine work.
I adjusted the vavles and installed the intake and we prelubed the engine. Now all we have to do is wait for warmer weather and we can put it on the dyno to break it in and get a couple of horsepower pulls.

The engine is together with all the accessories on with the bellhousing on the back. Going to put it in the car finally this weekend
