The Guest House
It was Chris' turn to be hung over and he didn't do it by half. He looked pretty rough and wasn't happy when I took a photo of him.

So I took another one...

In the absence of any cycling, our plan for the day was to go walking in the countryside (this was in the days before Foot and Mouth came back). But after our now traditional cooked breakfast, we decided it was too wet and Chris was too ill. So we went back to the city centre.
Nottingham City Centre

We ate lunch at a baguette shop, and as soon as we stepped out onto the street, it started to rain. After wandering around the streets for a while we went to the internet cafe in a major department store where Kevin checked his email. Chris wanted to get back in time to drop the car part off at the garage, so we set off for the trip back south.

After a brief stop at a petrol station we hit the road and travel down the motorway for a couple of hours. So far so good. We might get to the garage in time.
Then we heard a travel announcement - an accident about a junction ahead causing long traffix queues. We left at the next junction and drove through many towns and villages in an effort to get home in time. We don't even have time to stop to go to toilet.
A garage in Kent
We arrive at the garage shortly before closing and hand over the part. To get it out of the boot, we have to unpack all our luggage on to the ground. The mechanics show Chris the old damaged part while Dave sneaks off to use the toilet in the showroom.
Chris and Sophie's house
We watch on TV as the Serbian goverment falls and then go out for a curry.
Before we leave, Chris decides he needs to take his bike to Portsmouth, so we pack my, Chris and Dave's luggage, Chris' bike and Chris, Dave and Myself into Dave's Astra. Dave is upset because someone has stubbed a cigarette out on his spoiler during the week. I travel down to Dave's in the back seat, with cases, bags and bikes piled around me. Forunately we don't have to play name that dodgy 60s theme tune.
A petrol station in Horsham
Just before we arrive back at Dave's, we stop at a petrol station. Dave goes to pay and meets an old friend on the way back. They talk for several minutes while Chris and I wait.
Eventually we get back to Dave's house, transfer the bike to my car (which is thankfully in one piece) and set off back to Portsmouth.
Fade to credits.
