Clean lines and classic designs with a modern, understated twist sum up the look of Roisin Boyce's collection. the young clothes designer from Falcaragh Co Donegal has been running her own business from a small studio in Dublin's Fade street for five years now, last September she showed her first collection at the Design Centre where every piece displayed was hand tailored by Roisin. Her core business started in made to measure garments at her studio "my style is quite simple yet very intricate in the tailoring I create a look that won't date". Her label is Kenchiku which is the Japanese word for architecture "I was very interesred in architecture I was interested in looking at building s rather than clothes- which is unusual I know I found the lines, shapes and curves in Japanese architecture suited my style of work |
