Paul Lemire

Hi Everyone! This is where I can normally be found on any given day. I am usually up at 6:30 a.m. and am on the computer by 7:00!! Besides reading and replying to email from relatives and friends, I usually surf the web for the latest schedules for Pro Rodeos in Canada, Chuckwagon Races, and places for my wife and I to visit. I also spend a great deal of time entering and editing information about relatives in the Lemire Family Tree, which was updated on December 25th, 1998.

I was raised in northern Alberta in the small french community of Falher. After leaving home, I worked for a seismic company until I met and married my wife in Eston, Saskatchewan.
After a brief stay in Edmonton we moved to Edson Alberta where we lived for six years. During that time I delivered propane to the many residents of Muskeg River to the north, the Coal Branch to the south, Nojack to the east and Jasper to the west.
In Hinton I worked 27 years for the local mill in various capacities. I began as a scaler in the bush then later as an auditor/compiler in the office. The rest of my work at the mill was as a senior dispatcher in the hauling department.
Today I work occasionally as a spare bus driver fora few local companies and schools. Much of our spare time in the summer is spent touring and camping in some of Alberta's Special Places. We also try to make it back to my wife's home province of Saskatchewan at least once a year to visit with relatives.
