About Me
Hi there :)

I am a solo acoustic artist based in Bundaberg, Queensland.

I grew up in Southern Tasmania, and originally started musically as a drummer in high school.

In order to earn some money, I began to busk in the Mall in Hobart, and also at Salamanca Markets. I found that if I sounded crap I didn't earn any money, so I soon improved.

At age 15, I started playing in a high school band called "Glass Onion", a name derived from the fact that we played heaps of Beatles etc.

My first serious band was "Sabre Wulf", a Hobart hard rock/metal band, playing Tygers of Pan Tang to Motley Crue.. I was lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist and played a horrendous explorer shape guitar. I was ejected from the band as nobody wanted me to run it, but no-one else had a clue how to either, which lead to a fair bit of infighting.

I joined another band, "Scarlett", which played a lot of AC/DC, Deep Purple, Stones, Creedence and Status Quo.I played an Ibanez Roadstar 2 through a Dean Markley amp. We won a battle of the bands in Hobart while my old band came last :)

I floated from band to band for a while, until I "stole" the keyboardist and singer from a band called "Exit" and formed hard rock band "Kruger". We played heaps of Sabbath, Dio, Judas Priest etc. At this stage I was running my Ibanez along with another RG into an AOR100 Laney and 2   4 x 12 Quads.

After I left Kruger a formed a band with a young whiz of a guitarist and wrote a few originals, still mostly playing covers. When he moved to Sydney, he was replaced by another whiz kid who, while he was with us, won the Victorian Heat of the Yamaha Guitar Challenge, which was pretty cool.

More bands, more changes and a career change and move to Launceston, and I pretty much retired from music, sold most of my gear and became boring.

A chance meeting with some other muso's from a soccer club where I was playing and next thing I was gigging again. "Uncle Lucy", possibly the crappest band name ever, was playing regularly around the Launceston area. Gibson Les Paul & Firebird Studio, Line 6 Amp and lots of work, I strangely opted to move to Bundaberg.

As fate would have it, I moved into a house next to another muso, who "coerced" me into playing in an acoustic duo with him.

And the rest is history..........................................
