What if some morning you are awakened and you find out that millions of people have disappeared from off the face of the earth? Or, what if you wake up and you can't find your wife or husband, or maybe your children? You probably think that will never happen. Oh yes, you have heard about this from some of those crazy people that call themselves Christians, but you never believed any of that junk. For just a moment you are scared out of your wits. You go in the living room and turn on the television and there it is, every where you turn they are telling the same story. Millions of people have just vanished from all around the world. Do you know exactly what has happened? Do you know what to do next? What else is going to happen?

Suddenly you remember someone telling you about something called the tribulation period. About all the things that are going to come upon the earth after the church has been taken out.

I will be giving you a preview of what to look for and what to stay away from if you have been left behind. And more importantly what you can do to be sure you don't get left behind.

Since the days of the prophets of old, it has been prophesized or foretold of the time that God would again gather the children of Israel (the Jews) and return them to the land that He promised to their forefathers. In 1948 Israel became a nation and the Jews have been returning ever since. (Jeremiah 30:3) The prophet Jeremiah also told of the time when the remnant would start returning from the north countries (Russia), and they are still returning today from every place where they have been scattered. However, between their returning and when they will see their Messiah coming to set up His kingdom, there will be much trouble poured out on them and upon the whole earth.

The fact that Israel is in the news constantly is infallible proof that the church will soon be leaving. When the fullness of the Gentiles has come (the end of the church age) God will once again turn His face toward Israel and Judah and finish the work He started in them centuries ago. (Daniel 9). Right now the church age and God's dealing with Israel is overlapping each other. We, as you already know, have begun the third millennium, which is the seven thousandth year since Adam and Eve. As on the seventh day God rested for all His works, the Jews and the remnant of the world will soon rest in the reign of Christ for a thousand years. But before this can happen the church must be taken from the earth because the church is the only thing that is keeping the seven years of tribulation from happening, and it must happen before Jesus can come and establish His kingdom. In Hosea 6:2 God tells the Jews that in the third day He would come to revive them. We are in that third day.

So, where do we, that is the church, find ourselves in all this. Jesus tells us in 1 Thess 4:13-18 to look up for He is returning in the air to meet us in the clouds, and we along with those who have already died in Christ will meet Him and we will forever be with Him. Then the seven years of Tribulation will soon start. Jesus gave us some signs to look at to let us know how close we were to His appearing. He said when you saw Israel being a cup of trembling, and a burdensome stone (Zachariah 12:1-3) to all the nations around her, He would come. In Matthew 24, and Luke 21 He told us of the sign of the times before His coming. He said in the last days perilous times would come. 2 Timothy 3 tells us just exactly how our world is today.

Soon there is going to be an all out war between Israel and her enemies in the near future and we, the church, could be here to see the beginning of this war. In order for this war to come to some kind of close, the man of sin, the anti-Christ will have to come on the scene and bring a false peace, a peace that is based on lies. Before this man can come on the scene the church has to leave, for it is the church, that is the blood washed Christians, that is keeping him from making himself known.

Let me give you a few more reasons I believe the church will be leaving before the seven years of tribulation begins. In Revelation 4:1 John hears a voice say "come up here". This I believe is the calling away of the church. Then he sees the church in heaven represented by the 24 elders, and they are clothed in white raiment and they are wearing crowns which belong to the redeemed. (Rev 2:10; 3:21; 20:4; Matthew 19:28; 1Cor 9: 25-27; 2Tim 4:8) The most startling fact is in chapter 5. Here are the redeemed to God by the blood of the lamb from every kindred, tongue, people and nation. And He has made us kings and priests unto God and we will reign with Him when He returns to set up His kingdom after the seven years have transpired. After John sees the church, then begins the riders of the four horses. The first horse is the anti-Christ and it is plain to see that we are in heaven before he begins his ride.

There is so much that the word of God would have us know about this time so that we can prepare to escape it, and the only way we can escape it is to have our sins forgiven and be washed in the saving blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is so easy. If you want to escape all these things that are coming upon the earth all you have to do is say this prayer and mean it with all your heart. Say:

"Jesus I admit I am a sinner. I am sorry I have lived a sinful life and I ask you to forgive me and count me worthy to escape these things that are coming on the earth. Help me live my life for you and help me help others to find salvation through your name. I turn from my life of sin. I turn from what I want to what you want. Cleanse me and wash me in your precious blood and remember my sins no more. In Jesus name, Amen."

If you really pray that as you read it, and you meant ever word, start reading your bible and find out all the good things that God has in store for you. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

After the bride of Christ has been snatched out of the Earth, there will be seven years of Great Tribulation. My intent here is to simply outline what lies ahead. It would take many pages to detail everything happening in these seven years. The majority of this work will be taken straight from the book of The Revelation of Christ (sometimes called Revelation or the Revelation of John) I am so excited about the prospects of being snatched out of this world and into Heaven and being with Jesus forever and forever, but my heart aches for all those who will be left behind. I am not a preacher or even married to one. I am just a simple person who loves the Heavenly Father and Jesus.

There will be many wonderful things happening in Heaven during these years, but I am going to concentrate on what is going to be happening for those who were left behind. My goal of this page is two fold. First is that it will reach you before the great tribulation starts and you will not have to endure the pain and suffering that will come upon the Earth. My second is that it will reach others after the rapture and help guide them through the years ahead.

One of the most important things that will happen quickly after the rapture is that a great and powerful person will come on the scene as a wonderful leader. This person will seem so wonderful, that the entire world will want to follow him. It will be interesting to see what explanation he has for why so many Christians suddenly vanished. He will help bring peace to the world--for a short time. He is the great deceiver. He will eventually require you to take the mark in your hand or forehead. Without this mark you can not buy or sell. With the mark you give up all rights to be with Christ. Do not trust this person. He will lead you to an eternity of torment.

The Judgments of God:

1. A White Horse: Antichrist trying to imitate Christ. He is given power to conquer the world. (Rev 6:1-2)

2. Red Horse: He is given power to snatch peace from the Earth. Most believe, as I do, this will be Russia and will eventually involve all major nations of the world. (Rev 6:3-4)

3. Black Horse: He is given power to cause worldwide financial catastrophe. Food will become very scarce. (Rev 6:5-6)

4. Pale Horse: and the name of him that rode the pale horse was named Death, and Hades followed along with him. He is given power to destroy 1/4 of all the world with the sword, hunger, and with death. (Rev 6:7-8)

5. Death for many Christians who refuse the mark of the beast. (Rev 6:9-11)

6. Great Earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth and the moon becomes as blood. I believe this will be caused by the use of nuclear bombs. What ever causes this it will not be like any earthquake we have ever felt before. It will shake the entire earth. (Rev 6:12-17)

7. The 7 trumpets (Rev 8:1-6)

1st Trumpet. Hail and fire mixed with blood and 1/3 of trees was burned up, and all green grass burned up. Another nuclear attack even worse than the one in the sixth seal. (Rev 8:7)

2nd Trumpet . 1/3 of the sea becomes blood. 1/3 of all creatures in the sea died. 1/3 of the ships are destroyed.(Rev 8:8-9)

3rd Trumpet 1/3 of all rivers, waters becomes bitter. Many will die from drinking this water. (Rev 8:10-11)

4th Trumpet. 1/3 of the sun, moon, and stars are smitten and will not shine. Try to imagine 1/3 of the sun darkened. How cold the earth will become. (Rev 8:12-13)

5th Trumpet . Angel given key to the Abyss. Sun & sky were darkened. Torment for 5 months by great locusts who came from the smoke of the Abyss with the sting of a scorpion. (perhaps helicopters with nerve gas. The description here is obviously detailing a modern battle scene complete with modern weaponry like helicopters, aircraft, fighter pilots with helmets, missiles) etc. ) (Rev 9:1-12)

6th Trumpet . An army of 200 million (Red China) to slay 1/3 of all men. (Rev 8:14-21)

7th Trumpet . Great lightnings, thunderclaps, and earthquake, and great hail. These are all the warnings of the judgments that are on their way. (Rev 11:15-19)

1. And the first went, and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and there fell a malignant, painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshiped his image. (Rev 16:1-2)

2. The second angel, poured out his bowl upon the sea, and it became like the blood of a dead man; and every living soul that was in the sea died. (Rev 16:3)

3. The third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and fountains of waters, and they became blood. The evil of earth has shed the blood of the followers of Christ-- now their waters are all blood. (Rev 16:4-7)

4. Men are scorched with fire (great heat). (Rev 16:8-9)

5. And the fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was full of darkness and they gnawed their tongues for pain. and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. (Rev 16:10-11)

6. The river Euphrates and its water are dried up making way for the kings of the East. (Rev 16:12-16)

7. The seventh angel pored out his bowl into the air, and there came a great voice out of the Temple of heaven, from the throne, saying. "It is done. "Every city in the world will be leveled. There will be a great shaking of the earth (earthquake or nuclear missiles or both) There will be hail stones weighing 100 pounds each. (Rev 16:17-21)

All the armies of the earth will join together to fight against Christ returns to Earth to set up his 1,000 year reign. The fowls of the air will be summoned to feast upon the flesh of these armies and all who followed the beast, and all who took the mark of the beast. Revelation 19:17-21. The 7 years of tribulation have ended. Satan will be bound, and all evil and sin removed from the Earth for these 1,000 years.

A few other things that will take place during these 7 years:

*144,000 Jews. Soon after the rapture, many Jews will realize that Jesus was the true savior. They will begin a massive program to try to bring the world into believing in the one and only Christ-Jesus. God will be protecting them from harm during these 7 years.

*The Jews will rebuild their temple at the beginning of these 7 years.

*There will be 2 witnesses for the first 3 1/2 years (I believe Moses & Elijah). Midway through these terrible 7 years, they will be killed and lay in the streets for all the world to see for 3 1/2 days. At the end of 3 1/2 days they will be filled with the spirit of God and ascend up to heaven while their enemies watch. Following this will be a great earthquake which will kill 7,000 people. Revelation 11:7-14.

*Israel will be attacked half way through these 7 years. She will flee into the wilderness where God will protect her. An Antichrist will then sit in the temple and call himself Christ. Revelation 12:13-17

And no man can buy or sell unless he has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let the one who has understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666.

My prayer is that if you have been left behind after the rapture, you will heed the words of the Bible. especially Revelation. Do not follow the great deceiver. Do Not take the mark of the beast. No matter how simple and innocent it may seem, it will not be worth an eternity of torment.

An important note: Jesus tells us that we are to read the revelation and share it with others.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen

If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, God has forgiven you and made you a member of his family. Find a Bible and read it. I suggest starting with the book of John.
