PROTEST !HERO: The new blasphemous "rock opera" about the life of "another Jesus" and a "different gospel."
Life In Jesus is urging all Bible Believing Christians to protest and boycott the new rock opera called "!HERO" which purports to be a story about the Gospel of Jesus Christ but in reality it is presenting a false Jesus and a false gospel.
We will provide some links at the end of this notice so you can see for yourself what this is all about (these links are links by those promoting !Hero and not those who are telling it like it is).

In this story, "Jesus" is actually called "hero" and is a black man (Michael Tait of DC Talk). He was born, not in Bethlehem, Israel, but in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He didn't move to Nazareth and preach in Jerusalem as the Bible records but rather to Modern Day New York City. Remember the Biblical account of Jesus feeding 5,000 with 2 loaves and a fish? Not in hero, he passes out hot dogs and pretzels! And we don't see Roman Soldiers here...oh no, rather we see crooked cops and racially diverse street gangs and thugs! This is pure heresy.
In addition to DC Talk's Michael Tait, there are a couple of other CCM heavy weights in here. Rebecca St. James plays "Maggie" which is a false parody of Mary Magdalene, and Mark Stuart of Audio Adrenaline, who plays the "Petrov", i.e. "Peter." !Hero is a multi-faceted project with a touring play, novels, comic books, a two CD soundtrack, a website, merchandising (clothing, accessories) and more. That is the bottom line...the commercial "christian" industry is blind sided by the money that can be made by such ventures as Left Behind and others and are simply compromising the Gospel for the sake of a few bucks. Lets see what God's Word has to say about this:
II COR 11:4 if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
OR, AS IT SAYS IN THE CEV VERSION (A FAVORITE OF THE CCM FOLKS:
(CEV) 4 We told you about Jesus, and you received the Holy Spirit and accepted our message. But you let some people tell you about another Jesus. Now you are ready to receive another spirit and accept a different message.
Galatians 1: 6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-- 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! 10Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
