I have worked with Paul Griffiths as Line Manager for a period covering over six years. Paul has been employed as Relief Project Worker with Stonham Housing Association in a variety of projects, with a number of different client groups.

My experience of working with Paul has been at Windmill House, which provides supported accommodation for vulnerable and homeless 16-25 year old young people, referred particularly by Social Services Departments and the Probation Services. This client group expresses challenging behaviour, including self-harm, and aggressive behaviour. This is a test for any professional, regarding ability to manage professional boundaries and provision of consistent quality support.

Paul has demonstrated a range of skills and abilities over a long period with this group, operating very well within the staff team. He has particular strengths in enabling clients to represent themselves, formally and informally, and inspires confidence within the resident group. Paul is able to structure and record the support provided, and measures positive outcomes effectively.

I can fully vouch for Paul as a totally trustworthy and honest individual. At no time during my management of Paul was there cause to question his integrity, and the trust with which he was invested was rewarded with a very high output, professional conduct at all times, and an ability to coach others less experienced that himself.
