I received my Bachelor Of Science degree
from Baruch College,with
a major in Math Education and a minor in Accounting. .I received my Master
Of Science degree from the
New York Institute Of Technology, with a major in Instructional Technology.
I have permanent state certification in teaching from the University
of the State of New York. I have been a math and accounting teacher
with the New York City Department of Education
since 1984 . I have been teaching at Park
East from the fall of 1989 until 2004. In 2005, I transferred to Jane
Addams High School in the Bronx.I am an active member of the UFT.
It has been my goal to make learning mathematics
and business subjects relevant, as well as enjoyable for my students. I feel
by integrating technology in the classroom, students become active participants

I am an advocate for animal rights,
and have three cats of my own, Monique , RedFred
and India. I am a movie buff, with a large collection
of videos of Hollywood films from the 30's and 40's. I am also a sports
fan, from baseball in the spring and summer to football in the fall and
winter. I consider myself a "historian" on music of the Beatles, John,Paul,
George, and Ringo.
