A Brief History of Paulie

It all started a long long time ago, in a land far, far away.  Probably not far enough for you, but very far none the less.

I was wide eyed with wonder then, and the world was my oyster, except me mum dressed me like a little girl and used to tease me curly hair.   That made things tough, so I set out to find myself in this world.....

The call of the sea was  strong so I became a sailor.  Ahhhhhh, the smell of the sea and the salt spray in me face.  That's me on shore leave with Monique.  I had me a girl in every port.  A real heartbreaker was I.  A woman can't resist a man in uniform even if he is only 3 feet tall.

But all good things come to an end, and when my ship was dashed against the rocks off Nantucket, I said, ahh f...., oops, I said time to get a new job......

So, I headed out west, to find my fame and fortune.  That's me riding into Dodge City after a long cattle drive from East Texas.  Just after this picture was took, Billy the Kid called me out into the street, with murder in his eyes.  I patted Wildfire on the rump and told him to take cover, there was going to be gunplay.  Well the kid just tried to stare me down....

I took the kid that day in the streets of Dodge, but he took out Wildfire.  I went off into the mountains and became a mountain man.  Didn't want nothing to do with people no more, not after what a happened to Wildfire.  Fished and hunted and trapped for a long time.  Lost track of the time too.  That's me coming into town for some supplies and a hot bath and I hate to say it but some cheap whiskey...

Man can't stay a way from people too long it ain't right, ain't the way it's supposed to be.  So I went on back to cowboying and ranching.  Wildfire would have wanted it that way.  And every once in a while, when the night air is cool and clean, I sit on my front porch and wonder. So there you have it, a little history of me.  So no matter how your life turns out, just don't lose sight of the wonder.
