Romeo and Juliet Married!
VERONA, Monday afternoon - Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet were married by Friar Lawrence who had hoped to break the ancient grudge. Secretly arranged behind everyone's back, the star-crossed lovers were married In Friar Lawrence's cell.
No one attended the wedding except the nurse. Not even the children's own parents were invited. The parents were not aware of what was going on to stop it or at least delay it. They arranged the wedding all by themselves with the help of a few messengers such as Juliet's nurse.
The Friar, trying to do the "right thing" and at the same time be loyal towards his job, was torn between what to do. It just might be, that the Friar did not think it was the best idea to marry them. He said "These violent delights have violent ends. And in their triumph die, like fire and powder."
The nurse says "O G-d's lady dear, Are you so hot? Marry, come up I trow."
This marriage might heal the ancient grudge. The grudge that has been going on generations after generations. It will do the civilians a great deal of good, if all will stop.
