There are forms ofwriting including poetry, research papers, and essays, along with manyothers. Each of these is a different component that all make up the worldof writing. Expository focuses more upon essay writing and how to perfect
it. I took the class because I wanted to be ready for when I have to write
my college essays. I thought that expository writing would greatly help
in preparation for it.
I�m very good
at writing research papers. I think the reason that I am proficient at
it is because I take time and care in finding out at much information on
the topic as I possibly can. I am better at writing something that is based
on facts, rather than writing something that is more imaginative or fictional.
I would definitely like to have a research paper to do this semester.
I also enjoy
doing projects instead of always having to write an essay about them. I
put a great deal of time, care and patience into my projects. I constantly
try to perfect them and add minor details to them so that they stand out.
My best work is most likely a project I�ve done in the past on a book I�ve
read.
I would like
to improve in the act of essay writing itself. I would like to understand
better the concept of a thesis and where it goes or how to form a conclusion
that makes sense with the rest of the essay.
I like to write
except not when I am assigned to write on something specific. I like to
write when I am alone, I also enjoy to write in a journal. When I write
on a subject that is meaningless to me I could never write something that
is A+ quality.
I hope for this
class to help me prosper in essay writing. I think that if I put all my
energy into it, than I will be able to learn a lot more than I have hoped
to, and take it with me through high school and college. It is critical
to know how to write well not only in school but in your career as well.
Soon enough, I will hopefully be writing like a professional.
