Yes, they know that the bible teaches in 1 Corithians 11 that the woman should be covered. The bible says itself that if she be not covered, let her then be also shaven. Also signifys the hair and covering/veil to be seperate; thereby she must also be covered or she brings shame to her Head which is her husband and Ultimately the Lord...

Yes, but it is very difficult depending on where you go. There are a few places willing. You would need to truelly show your desire and steadfastness and conviction and be willing to learn. You may ask for referral contacts and information if ou desire this.

The Old-Order and New-Order people use horse and buggy locally then hire car drivers for longer distances. The Beachy Amish own and use mostly dark colored, plain modest cars. The Old-Orders are most spiritually convicted, than the New-Order.The Beachy Amish, although independantly some individual Beachy or New Order members are more convicted,, than maybe an Old-Order one.
Then there is the ; OLD ORDER A.M.CHRISTIAN BRETHREN (gemee) which is a autonomous subdivision of the old order Amish and would have fellowship with most all devoted, biblicaly obedient old order amish and mennonite, brethren churchs, ( the old order a.m. christian brethren gemee) majorly concentrate on the inner spiritual, obedient convictions first then the outward and are more open to accepting, teaching ones who desire to unite with them or the old order Amish brethren. Do they believe that by doing works or just being obedient they are worthy of Heaven?
No, only that if any be a true hearted christian they will automatically want and need to be then obedient, and want to unite and assemble with brethren of like true hearts or else their rejection and disobedience would show what condition their heart really is in ; For the bible teaches, "If ye love me keep my words", "why call me Lord,Lord, and do not what I say", "If ye do not these things, ye can have no part with me".
Do the Amish use a true bible: like the King James version.
Yes, the Amish use what is called the German Luther text mainly, but socially the King James. The Luther text is almost identical to King James but a more valid older version from the Reformation era 1611 version....
