| QuikWar #2: Village Skirmish June 9, 2005 |
| My second go at a QuikWar game was a fast one. This was on a card table as well, the castle was moved to the one side and a small village was set up on the opposite corner. The village didn't really come into play because there was only one archer, so cover wasn't really needed. Black Falcons had 1 hero 4 swordsmen, 4 axemen, 1 archer. The Lion Crusaders had 8 guys with spears and shields. They had one less guy but more armor. The Crusaders (LC) split into two groups, and the Black Falcons (BF) split into 3 groups. The middle group was of 3 axemen who really had no defense. The hero's were number one priority for both teams and they were quickly taken out. Again no stupendous feats but double attacks were the rules. The middle axemen later grabbed the shields from the sliced heros so that they had some defense. The BF had the LC on the run but the LC regrouped and had 5 soldiers left. They made a risky move to go 2 on 1 with two separate BFs and won both fights. That turned the tide and the LC continued to victory with only 2 men remaining - which sliced the BF black knight's arms and legs off who then declared it a 'draw.' |
