| 1� web-entrevista-1st web-interview No final de 1998 fiquei sabendo atrav�s do site www.macca-central.com que a MPL Communications havia escrito em sua Home Page um artigo com o t�tulo: "Voc� quer falar com Paul McCartney?" Dias depois eles publicavam que Paul daria uma entrevista via Internet, exclusiva para os f�s, em agradecimento ao apoio que tinha recebido desde a morte de Linda. Tamb�m davam o endere�o de um clube rec�m aberto por Paul no Yahoo, destinado a divulgar o CD gravado por Linda antes de morrer. Para participar da entrevista, que foi ao ar dia 17 de Dezembro, com reprise nos dias 19 e 23, os f�s deveriam enviar uma pergunta atrav�s de e-mail ou do clube, chamado "Wide Prairie" (http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/lindamccartneyswideprairie). Poucos foram os escolhidos (ou sorteados, n�o sei), e estes receberam em suas casas o CD Wide Prairie, autografado por Paul. No dia da entrevista tive um compromisso inadi�vel e n�o pude assistir. Dois dias depois, munida de um gravador cassete, sentei em frente ao computador e, enquanto esperava come�ar, puxei a transcri��o no Yahoo e, para minha surpresa, l� estava meu nome! Por�m, como s� havia o 1 nome, a cidade e o pa�s, fiquei em d�vida, j� que poderia haver outra pessoa em S�o Paulo com o mesmo nome que eu. A web-entrevista come�ou. Na tela surgiu a imagem de Paul e, ap�s uma introdu��o, ele come�ou a responder as perguntas. Conforme ele lia, o nome da pessoa apareceia na tela, sobre a imagem de Paul. Quando ele falou meu nome quase n�o acreditei, mas ali estava o nome completo, escrito na tela! Fiquei realmente louca de alegria. Mal pude acreditar que, al�m de ouvi-lo e v�-lo falando comigo, ainda por cima iria ganhar um CD da Linda autografado por Paul!. | "I don't think there is any great heroic act in going in slavishly every day and saying, 'I must do this,'" says Paul McCartney of his paintings. "So what I find is that I do it when I am inspired. And that's how I can combine it with music. Some days the inspiration is a musical one and other days it has just got to be painting."
