Opinions are like a-holes, everyone's got one. Well, except for this website that is. We've got ten (opinions that is), and here are the people behind them.

Paul Morrison is the one behind this website. Having worn out his welcome in England, he moved to the USA in 2000, where he has married, and is currently being run ragged by his two year old son. An enthusiastic gamer, and veteran player of over 25 years, he finally decided to use his computer for something creative, the results of which you see here. Despite being in America, he loves to keep up to date with the English football scene, watching several games per week. Musically, you can find him listening to foreign rock guitarists with odd names, particularly Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Bands Dream Theater and Symphony X are among the others he scares his neighbours with. His all time favourite games are Adventure on the Atari 2600, Paradroid on the C64 and Star Force and Galaxian in the arcades. Currently extremely fond of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 on the Playstation 2.
The Pup was born n bred in the Land Down Under, and has been a Commie man (No, not the sort with the fuzzy hats and funny moustaches) since his first encounter with one in '84 in grade 1 at school. Got his first commie in '87 and used it for 10 years before getting a PC in 97, and discovered the wonderful world of emulators about 1 1/2 years ago. Applied to review for the site not to do something creative with his computer, but as an excuse to play more games. Now married with a 2 yr old, he doesn't play as much as he used to, but still enough to drive the wife nuts :) Other than tinkering with Computers, he can occasionally be seen running around a hockey field, flying RC planes on any local flat spots, or just quietly reading (Pratchett, AC Clarke, Lovecraft, many more).
The Sarge is a video games industry veteran of 13 years having worked with such notable retro-companies as Aardvark, Sensible and The Bitmap Brothers. Years of miserable commuting into wet and windy London finally convinced him to move to the more sunny climes of Southern California in early 2002 where he currently works in game development. The Sarge is an avid gamer and and is particuarly fond of his wonderful I, Robot arcade cabinet. His favourite games are Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Robotron and Tetris and he considers the Atari 800 to be the best little computer ever made. He has an unnatural love all things Nintendo and a rather sad collection of cuddly Zelda dolls. When not playing games The Sarge likes messing about on the beach, reading, writing, listening to music (especially Pink Floyd, Rush 80's electronic band and Motorhead) and watching sports on the Telly while his girlfriend plays Animal Crossing. He thinks mobile phones are a pain in the ass and would like to do nasty things to people who use them while driving (Good lad! - P.M.)
LeeT is a 31 year old retro game fan who plays games on all systems. He lives in Hartlepool, which is in the North-East of England, and loves music, films, tv and reading. He has a huge collection of magazines and quite an extensive retro game collection, especially for the C64. He doesn't work at the moment, and spends most of his time checking out forums on the 'net, as well as practising his gaming skills! Some of his current faves are Buggy Boy, Willow Pattern and Ikari Warriors on the C64, Irritating Maze on the Neo Geo, Dungeon Master on the Atari ST, Nonterraqueous on the Spectrum, and Columns and Zool on the Megadrive. He is not a fan of strategy games, but loves arcade and adventure games. His sense of humour can be a bit surrealist, so expect mentions of haddock in reviews!
Sharopolis is 24 and was born and raised in Burnley, Lancashire in the North West of England. He's a die hard Spectrum fan, but likes all kinds of retro gaming, his favourite games include Knight Tyme and Auf Wiedersehen Monty on the Speccy, I, Robot and Rainbow Islands on MAME and just about anything by Shigeru Miyamoto. He likes loads of music, plays guitar very badly and these days he's heavily into Northern Soul. He reads a lot, his favourite books are Rivethead by Ben Hamper and Junky by William Burroughs, and he also thinks that Withnail and I is a really good film. Sharopolis does believe that the C64 is evil, but can probably put this aside if he's asked to review any games on it.
Hi, Im Lee, insane and player of many (old) games. Since programming a Star Wars arcade game for the ZX81 (complete with terrible flickery Tie-Fighters) I got the computer and video game bug that carries on to this day. Been writing about games on the net for many a year since starting my own website in 2000 called Lee's PeeknPoke. Then its been a rollercoaster ride of beer fuelled topics and fun. Big emulation fan too with writing for such websites as Emucamp and Kinox. Became a real online reviewer for Gamestyle.net as Retroeditor. Now just a sad git doing downloadable videos about retrogames but at least life is now complete with getting my first big arcade machine. People say I should grow up, and they are possibly right. :)
Hello, my name is Michael and I am addicted to video games. Video games have been my twisted obsession for the greater part of my life. You know how some people are obsessed with hockey or some other sport!! Thats me with video games. Video games are the quintessential entertainment product. The best of them provide sound and stories that rival big budget films, with graphics that are beautiful and dramatic to behold. Most of all, theyre just really fun. Hope you enjoy my reviews.
Hi Im Mamemeister. Im 35 and have been playing games since late 83. I started out with the C64 and after getting hooked on the cart version of International Soccer have never looked back since. I love all games, especially the old 8 bit classics including a lot of the vintage 80s arcade games. I would put Robotron as my fave game ever and can kick anyones butt at Rocketball on the 64. When Im not gaming I lift weights and enjoy Boxercising, although not at the same time!! Being a Scot I tell it how it is. Stuart Campbell ain't the only Scots bloke with attitude you know....
I'm IceCold, and I'm 14 years old, and have been playing video games since before I can remember. We had an Atari 2600 when I was extremely young. Soon after Super Nintendo came out, by brother saved up his money and bought it. We quit playing the Atari 2600 and played the Super Nintendo. We soon gave the 2600 to our neighbor who really enjoyed playing it. In 2002, I stumbled upon AtariAge.com when I was looking for 2600 roms, to see what the old games were like. I started reading a bunch of information, and it really made me want to get some of the Atari systems. I then joined the forums there, and eventually got a 2600 from somebody on there that goes by the name oesii. It was great! I was playing great games like Space Invaders and Pitfall. Eventually I started getting other systems and games. I am not really a collector as much as I am a player. I really like playing video games. My favorite system is the Atari 5200. I like to modify things and make adapters for game systems. That is one reason I like the 5200 so much, there are many cool modifications you can do. So far I have modified a paddle controller to work with the 5200, built some adapters to use a PC joystick/gamepad on your 5200, and I've put a blue LED in my 5200.
Little is known about LS81, other than he likes fish. And is probably very cold a lot of the time. We don't even know if that's the name he'll go by, but we hope to find out soon. Rumours that his favourite games include Sea Bass Fishing and the bonus stage of Nebulus are unconfirmed.
ApolloBoy is a 14-year old who lives in San Jose, California. He first got started on the NES and the Game Gear at 2 years old, and hasn't stopped playing since. His fav systems are the Atari 2600 and the NES. His fav games are Pressure Cooker on the 2600, Commando on the C64, and Mega Man 4 on the NES. He's also interested in 80's music and the Chrysler K-cars.
