![]() | "Mmmm.... flowers.... pretty.... snuffle.... lights....pretty.... wait.... lights = spaceship! They've left without me! Bugger...." Not exactly E.T.s first words on Earth, but they could have been. Your alien pals have left without you, and now you're knackered. Time to use your superior intelligence to figure out a way home.... | ![]() |
![]() | You must guide E.T. around the six screens to find three pieces of machinery which, when assembled, will enable him to call his ship and be rescued. Only four of the screens may contain phone pieces. These screens are full of wells, and the pieces will be at the bottom of any of them. | ![]() |
![]() | E.T. has a special power that can help him find these pieces. Pressing the fire button makes him raise his wrinkly neck, and if a piece is at the bottom of a well, it will flash. All Pudgy has to do is drop into the well, pick up the piece, levitate out and carry on. We say "all" but getting out and staying out is a bit of a chore. It's all too easy to come out on the edge of a well and fall back in again, so be careful. If this proves too difficult, there is another way to get your mitts on those phone pieces. If you collect 9 pieces of candy, then call Elliott, he will swap the candy for a phone piece! It's not good to encourage tooth decay in such youngsters, but you've got to get home! | ![]() |
![]() | This all sounds very easy, but there are people that are very interested in extra-terrestrial activity. While E.T. is trying to get home there are scientists out there that want to experiment on him, and F.B.I. agents that would love to interrogate him and be just plain nasty. These people should be avoided at all costs. | ![]() |
![]() | The scientist isn't too harmful, he takes you back to his base and lets you go. The F.B.I. agent, however, will steal one of your precious phone pieces. Scumbag! They can be warded off however; at certain points on the screen you can call Elliott, and he will send them packing. After you've assembled your phone, you can find the call site and call your ship! This icon only appears in one place, and so takes some hunting down. Once you've called the ship, a timer will tick down. You must be at the landing site when it runs out, or you'll miss the ship. Be careful though, because if anyone else is there, the ship won't land! Then you'll be forced to play through the game again.... MOZ | ![]() |
