Don your polo neck and slacks and prepare for some undercover shenanigans. As Agent Albatross you have to breach the Evil Dictators lair and rescue the girl. Game play consists of sideways scrolling action which takes place over several levels. Each level is very platform based but is graphically different from the previous one to prevent boredom setting in.
You start out with a standard hand gun which can fire several bullets simultaneously. Additional ammo can be gained by moving into Ammo rooms. These can also be used as means of escaping the enemy in tricky situations although timing is critical as the henchmen will sometimes stand out side the room youre in, which will result in instant death when you re-enter the fray. You will occasionally see a Weapon room which when entered, will give you an automatic machine gun. This gives a nice spray of bullets, but be warned; the bullets run down very quick and should be used sparingly. You can suffer 2 brushes against the baddies although a single gunshot from the foe is enough to take a life. The foes are gauged on toughness with the red and green hooded villains requiring a single shot to take out. Yellow henchmen make an appearance later and take a couple of shots to floor. Later levels have panthers and werewolves who make a sudden lunge for you with a satisfying roar as they approach.
Game play is tight and requires mastering. Pushing up on the joystick will make Albatross look up, if held up and a button depressed he will leap up onto the platform above, although you can only jump if there is a railing directly above you. The controls are very responsive and at times in the heat of battle, you feel the controls let you down rather than poor play. It is very easy to be crouching to avoid gunfire then to move the joypad ever so slightly causing your character to stand up and take a bullet resulting in a lost life.

Tips and Stuff:
First and foremost conserve your ammo!! Even when you get your hands on the machine gun try and take it easy on the trigger finger. Technically your ammo supply is never-ending, however when you run out of ammo you are left with a single fire pistol that takes about a second to regenerate its one bullet. Proceed with caution. Second, learn to know your enemies. There are all sorts of different coloured hooded guys get to know them all. Some take more than one hit, some throw grenades, some shoot, and some just wander around aimlessly. Third be aware of your health. Ignore that health bar in the corner, its useless. The game works like this. If you get bumped into or punched you lose half your health. If you get shot you die. Tread carefully.
