The Bobcats Youth Sports Association actually began in 2000 as the Piedmont Kings AAU basketball team in Winston-Salem, NC. Our progarm is now based out of Fayetteville, NC.We gather kids to play basketball for fun and to keep them doing something positive.. A majority of our participants do not play on their school teams and some are actually still in the learning process, but that is why we are here, to teach them and watch them grow. We do not go out and heavily recruit people to play. All are excepted. This association was created to give the youth in the community a positive outlet through playing sports. This organization has grown from having one basketball team to having a couple of teams in travel basketball, AAU/NFL Flag Football teams and basketball camps. We hope to grow further by offerring more sports such as baseball, softball, wrestling and cheerleading. Senior graduates of our program may have the opportunity to obtain college scholarships through grants from our organization. Our organization is sponsored by First Baptist Church Moore St. of Fayetteville, NC. They provide a place to practice and transportation for the teams. All fees collected from the players are used for uniforms, hotel stay, and tournament entry fees. Here are some activities we are signing up for this year:
