"Remember the Titans" is a pretty good movie. Yes, it is predictable. But it has a good story and features solid acting by Denzel Washington. He plays the new football coach at a recently racially integrated school in Virginia in the 1970's. The team is divided, whites against blacks. Of course, he is able to unite the team as they try to conquer their opponents on the football field. This is a good movie, but is just a little predictable. However, it is based on a true story, which really makes it a good movie. I am glad that Jerry Bruckheimer had the courage to take out all the unnecessary foul language and make this a good family film. There haven't been many of those lately and it's a nice change. I recommend this movie for everyone.

Rated PG for thematic elements and some language. 113 minutes.
