Finally, a funny romantic comedy. But I really don't want to place the "romantic comedy" label on this movie though, because it is more like "Grumpy Old Men" than "Sleepless in Seattle."

Simply put, the plot is this. David Duchovny plays Bob Rueland, an architect. He is happily married to Elizabeth, a zoologist who works with gorillas. But his wife soon dies and Bob is devastated. Finally he meets a wonderful lady, Grace Briggs (played by Minnie Driver). They fall in love, but there is one catch. Grace received Elizabeth's heart in a transplant. Don't worry, I'm not really ruining the movie for you, because it is obvious through the movie that Grace has Elizabeth's heart. Bob must figure out if which woman he loves more: Elizabeth, who has passed away, or Grace, who he loves and has Elizabeth's heart.

The movie is very sweet and enjoyable. This is probably one of the best romantic comedies (yes, I know, there's that label again) since either "Grumpy Old Men" or "Sleepless in Seattle." While the movie is somewhat predictable, it does not detract from your enjoyment of the film. This is a very good movie and it is appropriate for all ages, in case you parents are wondering. Carrol O'Connor, David Alan Grier, and James Belushi, and Bonnie Hunt are all excellent in their supporting roles.

Rated PG for language and thematic elements. 113 minutes.
