"M:I - 2" has some great action scenes, but its chief fault is the including of several boring scenes of dialog. Perhaps if they had taken a lesson from the last James Bond film, "The World is Not Enough," they would have known to go non-stop with the action.
Tom Cruise reprises his role as spy Ethan Hunt. This time, he's out to steal a deadly new virus before a pharmaceutical company unleashes it on the world in a devious get-rich-quick scheme. The movie has some fantastic action scenes and chases. Furthermore, the ending is spectacular. This movie would have received a 4-star rating from me had the boring dialog scenes been eliminated during the final cut. Nevertheless, it still is a good action movie.
Rated PG-13 for language and violence.
