Loser

"Loser" is a loser. From the beginning, its horrible script wastes the immense talent of actors Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari. This is basically "She's All That" but set in college. It's predictable and frequently not funny. Furthermore, it drags the college stereotype (everybody drinks, does drugs, and parties every night) to unheard of proportions. If all college students were really like what this movie presents us as, then we'd (I'm a college student myself) all flunk out very fast. Plus, this movie is just plain not funny, which is weird because the previews lead you to believe that this is a comedy. I saw this for free at an advance screening; I'm glad I didn't pay to see it, because about the only thing this movie is worth is 99 cents at the video store in a couple years. I don't recommend this movie at all.
Rated PG-13 for language, innuendo, drug use, and alcohol use. 98 boring minutes.
