Starring Liam Neeson, Oliver Platt, and Sandra Bullock, the movie is set in New York City. Neeson plays a Drug Enforcement Agent, Charlie, who is having some psychological problems. Platt plays a mobster who also has some psychological problems. Bullock plays Judy Tipp, Charlie's girlfriend. The story revolves around a (fake) deal between rival mobsters. "Gun Shy" has a lot of funny moments but various holes in the plot hold it back. Also, Sandra Bullock is greatly underused. She's not in a whole lot of this movie, which is a big mistake on the writer's part. Perhaps this movie is best saved for the video store.
Rated R for violence, language and some brief nudity. 101 minutes.
