good night it was a gloriously sunny day here today but there is a light drizzle falling now and this could be the precursor to the icy patches promised in the morning along with the arctic airflow. an interesting week weatherwise coming up.

01 February 2007 : 23:37 GMT got an anenometer today but there was no wind of note to measure it went up to 6.9kph but that was all.
The temperature it read was 10.6 degrees celcius and the windchill was 9.9 degrees as there was hardly any wind to speak of.

Cold and 5 degrees but no snow just rain :( Think the Atlantic influence ruins the chance of heavy snow for the Northwest of Ireland on occasions like this. Still I would hasten to add I think a few more snow episodes are to come yet!!! 23 January 2007 : 23:36 GMT
