HOME REVIEW HARDWARE ADD-ONS GAMES CHARTS

REVIEW

Hardware: Gamecube brings great new innovations to the console market. From their unique, proprietary DVD size to the portability of the unit, £149 makes this unit the best value for money of the three consoles. with a 405MHz of processor, it outpowers the PS2 while still being daunted by the mighty Xbox. The console is designed with gamers in mind, and nothing else, Theres no DVD playback. (You can't even fit a regular sized CD or DVD into the Gamecube's drive).
Software: Since 1984, since the release of Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo has shown that almost all software released to their consoles was fairly good. Nintendo also owns three of the current most recognized games awaitng release. Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. It is here that Nintendo shines, although some consider the game-Cube a childs machine.
The Gameboy Advance linkup alone makes buying both Gamecube and Gameboy Advance tempting. Both come in varying colors, so matching them up isn't too hard, and the link proves invaluable in games like Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Zelda, and Metroid Prime.
Pros: - Portability! (Especially with Interact'ss Go Mobile kit) - Lowest cost console and first-party acceessories - Graphics outpower PS2. - Alot of quality games! - Super Smash Brothers Melee -Keeps kids occupied for hours
Cons: - No DVD playback. - No CD playback. - Smaller game selection then competitors.. - Super Mario Sunshine
