| On September 21, 1997, our dreams of having a child became reality when Joshua Paul Rodrigues entered our lives. Born 3-01-97, in Chengdu China, Joshua was one of the first boys to come to northern California from China. One thing that we did not realize prior to adopting from China the first time is the incredible connection to China. It truly has become a country that remains in our hearts; a bond that is hard to explain to to those who have not undertaken this journey. On June 20, 1999, again in Chengdu China, Sarah Ann Rodrigues came into our lives. We received her on Fathers day!!! That second trip has inspired us to go back yet again, and hopefully sometime in 2002, we will be back for Daniel/Rachel. |
