I suppose one of the most intriging doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the doctrine of the eternal marriage and that the family can be together for ever.
First I would like talk about is the Plan of Salvation. The first part being that we have always existed and that when we were born wasn't our beginning. We were intelegences at first and then were born spirit children to our Heavenly Father. So what does that mean? It means we have a Heavenly Mother also.
Second we could see that our Heavenly Father had a body of flesh and bones not flesh and blood because he has been Resurected. We wanted to be like him and the only way we could do that is to come to and earth. So the Lord Jesus Christ Created this earth under the direction of his father. Then Adam and Eve were put in the Garden and give two commandments. one was to Multiply and replentish the earth. and the other was no to take of the forbidden fruit. problem was they had to break one the keep the other. Eve being wise partook and then Adam not wanting to be alone partook also. Thanks be to them They were driven out and began to replentish the earth so that all of Heavenly spirit Children could come here and get a body. And the Lord provided a Savior for us so that if we sinned we could repent and what we can't do for ourselves Christ would do for us as long as we accept and follow him. We must be Baptised and receive the gift of the holy ghost by one having authority (The Preisthood) Then we can enter his Kingdom. Marriage is also a important part of God eternal sceme of things. That is why the Church builds Temples so the a man and woman can be sealed by the power of the priesthood and be sealed together by the holy spirit of Promise. Then families will be together forever and can become Gods. We will be the same there as we are here. We will know each other we will love each other. And we will assoiate like we do here. Would heaven really be heaven without our loved ones?
1- I am a Child of God and he has sent me here, has given me an earthly home with parents kind & dear.
2- I am a Child of God and so my need are great. Help me to understand his word before it grows to late.
3- I am a Child of God, rich blessing are in store. If I but learn to do his will I live with him someday..
