Dave in The Sun Woman! 6/6/01
Broadcast assistant Lizzie Buckingham 24,works on the Chris Moyles show on Radio 1. She nominated 'Comedy Dave' Vitty, Chris's sidekick on his afternoon radio show.
Lizzie says: Dave does need his edges tidying up a little. He is a little unadventurous with colours and fashion and tends to mix and match his black seperates quite alot. He is very scruffy around the office and it would be nice to see him looking stylish.
What Charlotte did: Dave's hair was fine so I gave him a scissor cut, because it blunts the hair, and makes it look much thicker. He had used face products before-after raiding his girlfriends bathroom cabinet. But I suggested he should try the clinique range of mens products. Althoug they are abit pricey, they do work very well.
What Catherine did: I chose a stone coloured pair of trousers and a blue and white short sleeve checked shirt, which is subtle but not loud.
The result: Dave was pleased with his new look, "Some people are only happy when they're wearing a hawaiian shirt," he says. "But I'm the kind of bloke who likes to wear black and blend into the background. I did quite like this new look though. Because I'd had my hair done and all my clothes were new, I felt abit too clean and tidy, I've been working with Chris Moyles since January 1998, and we met the year before when he did the early breakfast show. In all that time I dont think he's ever sen me looking so good!"
