PAUL B. PETERSEN has roots that go back four generations in the Hawaiian Islands
(Napolis Ohana of Kauai and Samonte Ohana of Maui). He is a luthier,
a stringed instrument artisan, who apprenticed under Kula master archtop guitar maker
STEPHEN GRIMES. He was head luthier of what used to be the custom production of
Nahenahe Hawaiian Ukuleles. Now, he has decided to even perfect his craft by getting into
one at a time custom, hand-made fine instruments: acoustic guitars, steel guitars and ukuleles.
