FINAL
REPORT
You
are almost done!
The Tango community is
more vibrant than ever. Dancers and musicians have gone out to the streets,
and artists are back in La Boca and San
Telmo creating wonderful Tango paintings and portraits of Carlitos.
Buenos Aires is full of Tango again, thanks to you.
You and your colleagues
have done such a great job. We are looking forward to your final report.
Here
you will find the basic guidelines for your report.
Final
Report should include:
-
A brief biography,
including Gardel's major life events and musical accomplishments.
-
A time line
of his life and works. This should be neat and clear, but creative. You
can tape pages together, or use large drawing paper.
-
A small collection
of photographs and various images.
-
A brief paragraph describing
Gardel's style and Tango style in general in the early 1900's.
-
A short list of Gardel's
most famous songs, examples of his lyrics and a description of recurrent
themes and style.
-
Your conclusion paragraph
about Gardel's influence and legacy.
-
Your definitions of
the terms specified in "Pop Culture and the Making of a Myth" and the personality
chart.
Your Final Report Should
Be Done Now! Good Job!
