As of May 2001, i am getting
ready for finals week. I am working on two projects for two different Photo
classes: Digital and Non-Fiction (most commonly known as Documentary).
En
Mayo del 2001, estoy preparandome para la semana de finales. Estoy trabajando
en dos proyectos para dos materias de fotografia: Digital y Non-Fiction
(que basicamente es Documental).
For DIgital i have 19 8.5
by 11 inch prints. Color on art paper, ConeTech Tunbridge, to be exact.
I just finished matting them as of 2:45 AM on Sunday, May 6th.
For Documentary, i have
printed a bunch, but the project is not coming together yet. It was quite
a troubled journey. My original idea was to start a life long project (perhaps)
on families, specificaly documenting non-traditional families. Breaking
the stereotype of the typical nuclear group. I was excited about it. I
decided to start with semi non-traditional families, and i visited the
Davis' in Billings. I took several rolls of their daily activities and
family interaction, as well as their exchange student from Peru and other
friends. Here comes the bad part...
