So here I sit writing, my fingernails I'm biting. Blondie's having contractions. Can't have too many distractions. This message may get a wee bit marred. She wants to have a baby on this card. I'm feeling so much tension. perhaps I forgot to mention, that her tummy is so round each kitten must weigh a pound. I'm sitting on the floor with legs stretched out. She's straddling my ankles trying not to pout. By now you know I'm quite crazy with rhyme, with hours of sitting, it helps pass the time. The sooner she starts, the sooner she'll be done, and finally she's here, we have number one. Number two didn't take long. She came out with a song. Now we're waiting for number three, so I made myself a fresh cup of tea. Although it took a long time to start, delivery of the kittens isn't far apart. Lilac point is our goal in breeding and outcrosses we are really needing. This abundance of girls is very handy. My partner will think that it's just dandy. With all of them, I'm sure we'll be smitten, and have some trouble picking only one kitten. Number three is still hanging by the cord. It's obvious by now I'm a little bored. Good thing I was here, I definately was needed. Clumping litter on number four & cleaning was impeeded. Gorgeous when they're here, but oh what a mess. Mom is such a dear, and whoever would guess, I thought that no more would arrive and so I missed the birth of number five. So here we are winding down. I hope you don't think me too much the clown. This verbose verse I'm sure does show the ridiculous lengths I'm willing to go to fill up the day with double tasking. Am I pooped? Yes, but thanks for asking.
