I feel a since of comfort and peace when I see an angel. I collect them and have for several years, I also give them as gifts to give someone else a bit of heaven and comfort of their own.
I collect them for two reasons:
First is because when my youngest son was born he had several health problems and one day in the mist of all the doctor visits and family and friends going in and out a guardian angel pin appeared on his shoulder. (We never found out how it got there or who put it there.) After the angel appeared he started to get better. We kept it on his shoulder for the first 3 years if his life. (He is now 16 and very healthy...thank God!!) Shortly after his 3rd birthday his grandmother, my mother got sick and I gave it to here to protect her. We celebrated her 90th birthday this past summer. She has health problems but the angel is watching over her and keeping her safe and with us.
Secondly, is because of my youngest daughther. She would wake us up in the middle if the night talking. We would ask her who she is talking to and she would reply "can't you see her mommy, isn't she beautiful?" We would say no who is it and she would say, "it is an angel, she comes and talks to me and make sure we are ok."
With 2 of our children being blessed by angels we feel that they play a very important part in our lives. So therefore we keep them all aound the house and give them to friends and family so they can have their own gaurdian angels with them always.
Not only do I collect angels for my home, I also have a tattoo of an angel on my right arm. So now I have an angel with me no matter where I go.
** As you have probably seen throughout out site - my Mother passed away in March 2006. The angel pen that was talked about above has now been given back to my son. She has went home to become an angel herself. Oh how we are blessed by angels. I always knew that she was special... now we know for sure. She is our angel!!! now and always. |
