September 8th - The Celebration of the Arts (COTA)*** holds a General Meeting to plan for this year�s Jazz and Arts Festival to take place this week. The public is invited to attend. They are in need of volunteers to participate in their upcoming 32nd Annual Jazz and Arts Festival to be held in The Delaware Water Gap, PA area September 11th - 13th. Volunteers opportunities include Gate Workers, Security Persons, Stage Crew and many more positions available to eager jazz lovers. Friday September 11th - An �Hour of Honor� to remember the servicemen and servicewomen from Pennsylvania who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since the war started will be held at The Courthouse Square in Stroudsburg, PA at 7pm. A luminary candle for each of the servicemen and servicewomen who have been killed will be lit accompanied by prayers for their families while a reading of each serviceman�s and servicewoman�s name and hometown will be given.
