Farnborough 2000 A bunch of us from work went to the Farnborough air show on Saturday 29th July. It was a very sunny day, particularly down on the tarmac. As usual, just after opening time at 9am, you could wonder around the static displays with ease. By midday though, the entire area was packed. The Red Arrows were first up, doing their gracious displays, slow movements in formation. A lot different than the American Blue Angels who have fewer aircraft, but go a lot faster. In the static display, the SU-32 below raised some eyebrows. A two seater version of the SU-27 Flanker, the crew sit side by side.
