I visited the Getty Centre at the end of October.
It truely is an amazing place, almost like something out of Science Fiction.
The gardens and architecture are the highlight here, with the Central Garden
the set-piece display, with the main galleries looking over.
A mug-shot of myself... This was taken looking north. The Centre is sited above LA in the Santa Monica Mountains, a breathtaking location.
Perhaps my favourite place in LA are the Canals just behind Venice Beach. They are so peaceful and tranquil, with beautifully maintained gardens. So different from the hussle and bussle just a 100 yards away on the beach. Early in the morning when I took this photo is perhaps the nicest time, with only ducks waddling across the paths as company. I used to live 5 minutes away at the Oakwood, Marina del Rey.
