Long Into The Night

Long into the night
filled with silent thoughts
of things in my sight
best left untouched

Voices, soft voices
long into the night
talking of secret desires
best left unvoiced

Passion and desire
sparks fly as eyes meet
long into the night
the lovers look into their souls

Quiet talk in a strong voice
passion is laid bare
a physical presense but captive
long into the night

They talk of their love
that each share in spirit
but leaving things undone
long into the night

Long into the night
passion flames burn bright
their eyes sparkle in its light
as they sleep long into the night
