A bright and relatively warm late summers evening at Pitch 2, at Norbury Powerleague played host for what turned out to be, as expected, a ferociously contested encounter, between the league's top two sides, who both boasted a 100% record, prior to the game.
Predators started flowingly, and quickly found themselves 4-1 ahead, thanks to a quick-fire Daniel Cross hat trick, and another from his brother Marc, who was supplied by the dynamic David Watson. As half time approached, No Fear were back in contention, at 5-5, however further goals from A. Symonds and M. Cross settled the nerves that were in existance.
The second half began, with No Fear bringing the score back to 7-6, and 8-7, before Predators began to play their best football. Further goals from the Cross brothers, who finished with 12 between them, eight belonging to Dan, were joined by Ali Ali and David Watson on the scoresheet. The final scoreline, 15-9.
