An impressive Baroque castle complex raised in the late 17th century for PoznaÕ Voivode RafaÓ LeszczyÕski, according to a design by JÙzef Bellotti. In about 1700 the works were taken over by pompeo Ferrari. In the years 1744-1746 the residence was reshaped for Prince Aleksander SuÓkowski under the guidance of Silesian architect Marcin Frantz. Druing that period of time the plafond of the ball-romm was covered by Jerzy Neunhertz with a painting representing "apotheosis of SuÓkowski Family". In the inter-war period the palace sheltered a secondary school for boys. It waas destroyed during World War II and reconstructed in 1972-1982 and now houses a hotel.
