Im 22 years old and I live in Yorkshire, England. I have been driving for 5 years since I was 17, and my Escort Cab is my fourth car.
My first car was a Red 1983 A Reg Mk2 1.0 litre VW Polo. I paid �350 for it and it could not have been slower to drive if you had attached 12 caravans to the back of it. However, it never let me down and I kept it for 3 months. But still, not a car to pull the birds in!.
My second car was a Gold 1990 Mk2 1.4 litre Ford Orion L. Not a bad car for just over a grand, shame about the colour. Always started, never failed (used to cut out a bit tho!). Managed to knock over a couple of bollards with it tho (oops!). A really great car that lost all its appeal when it was stolen one night in Hull and ragged to within an inch of its life. Its was never the same again. I had it for a year and put 25,000 miles on it.
My third car was a brand new Tuscany Green 1999 Mk2 1.1 litre Peugeot 106 Zest 2. I paid �8000 for this car and it was brand spanking new - for about five minutes. Then things went wrong - here are a few examples - brakes not working, engine being wrongly programmed, passenger door falling off, several successful break-ins, a kid falling off his bike and denting the front wing (the car had 200 miles on the clock at the time), seat rails snapping, back seat catching fire (oops!) and a whole host of other things, some my fault, but mainly the car was badly put together. Im not saying all Peugeots are like that! the car went like hell and never let go of the road, and was fantastic to drive, but the particular one I had was not too good! I had it for 2 years and put 36,000 miles on it!.
If you don't already know about my fourth car then you haven't been looking hard enough!!!.
My other hobbies (apart from the car) include socialising (i.e. getting v drunk), I play a bit of guitar and like listening to stupidly loud music.
My sister recently gave birth to my first nephew Joshua. There's a pic of him on the left. Isn't he lovely!. That's basically it for this page!
