The city of Jerusalem has always been the focal point of Gods earthly plan, the tree of life has been an intimate part of Gods fellowship with mankind from the beginning starting with Adam and Eve, to its re-emergence in the Millenium and beyond. Human existence commenced in Eden garden, where it became a foreshadowing of how it will be concluded, culminating in the New Jerusalem. Mans attempts to transplant  or otherwise trifle with the details of Gods plan only masks the otherwise obvious, God will always be better with the details than we could ever hope to be.

Conclusions: The site of Edens garden was a flash forward to the founding of Jerusalem. Solomons temple and the New Jerusalem are a flash backwards to the garden of Eden on exactly the same geographic location. God never deviates from his original plans but instead builds upon them from the inception point (Eden), but man certainly has a propensity for deviating from Gods plans. The reluctance of men to hold fast to that which God has  plainly revealed concerning the location of Edens garden, is what has been the greatest impediment to identifying it. It is unfortunate that pre-conceived hypotheses have been created pre-supposing that Eden must have been located in Mesopotamia (or elsewhere), then certain passages of scripture are quoted in such a way as to give support to the hypotheses, but scriptures which point to conclusions counter to popular hypotheses are overlooked and never brought into the discourse, this treatise now corrects that situation.

Topics under consideration for Future Studies:

Eden and the Holy of Holies-
Gen 3:24, Cheribum were placed at the entrance on the eastern side of the garden, indicating there was a single entrance located only on the eastern perimeter, with the north, south and west perimeters fenced or hedged such that they were impenetrable. Eden is quite probably symbolic of the Holy of Holies as it had its' entrance located on it's eastern face to the direction of the rising sun. Just outside this entrance was the location of the altar from which burnt sacrifices were made, making it quite likely that Abel's altar was probably located very near Eden's entrance.

The actual garden may have been on the eastward front of a land named as Eden-  Gen 2:8
"....
God planted (fix) a garden (1588 fenced around, hedged about) eastward (6924 in front and to the east of) in Eden (5731 pleasure, pleasant).

Do the four tributaries follow the four compass points from a central fountain-Gen 2:10
"
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads",   (1st Pisson, 2nd Gihon, 3rd Hiddekel, 4th Euphrates), with the four heads (tributaries) probably flowing along the four compass points (north, east, south, and west) of the earth's circle from Eden's center. Compare Rev 22:1-2 "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the lamb. In the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river, the tree of life..."

God has decreed that his plan for mans salvation will emanate only from the site of Jerusalem. The site of Edens Garden being the predecessor of Jerusalem yet to come, culminating in the New Jerusalem in which the tree of life will once again be rooted to restore all the original blessings of fellowship to Adam and Eve and all their progeny from all the ages of time.
