The 143,143-kilometer Mountain

There were two lovers who climbed the 143,143-kilometer mountain to strengthen their love. When they reached the top of the mountain, the boy was very happy but the girl was noticeably sad. The girl cried. She kissed the boy and whispered the word �goodbye�. Then, she ran quickly to the edge of the mountain, and jumped. The boy was startled. Without thinking, he followed the girl. While falling, the boy didn�t think of dying. Saving the life of the girl he loved is the only thing that is in his mind. Then, a drop of tear fell down from the boy�s eyes. Without noticing it, the time stopped. The boy thought that they�re still falling. Then he noticed that nothing is moving around him. There were birds that stopped flapping their wings, but still in the air, like they�re floating. The boy stared at the girl who is ahead of him. He thought that if he could fly, he could save his girl. The boy tried to move, but he can�t. None of his muscles could move, only the ones on his face. The boy was so puzzled. Then, he thought that maybe he�s dreaming, maybe he�s having a nightmare, maybe what�s happening at that moment wasn�t true, maybe his girl didn�t leave him, maybe his girl loves him, and that maybe the both of them weren�t dying at that moment. The boy had hope. He closed his eyes, and hoped that when he opened them again, he�ll wake up lying on his bed. When the boy opened his eyes, he saw the same scenery when he closed them. The boy told himself: �This wasn�t a dream!� The boy cried like he never did before. Hoping his girl would hear him, the boy shouted: �I love you very much! I want you to know that you�re the only girl I loved like this in my whole life! Why did you leave me? Don�t you love me? Why did this happen to us?� The boy was hopeless. He didn�t know what would happen next. Then he noticed something coming down from heaven. It was a cloud, and it�s coming down in front of him. When the cloud stopped in front of him, he saw a winged person standing on it. It was an angel. The angel looks like a normal teenage boy, only that he had wings. He had white complexion, he�s quite tall, his hair looked like it was styled with hair gel upwards like modern boys today, he wore a simple white shirt and a simple white pants, and he stood barefooted on the cloud. Actually, he�s quite handsome. �You human, will you please join me?� said the angel. The boy had no time to answer. The wind lifted him and put him on the cloud. His feet felt the cloud. It was soft like cotton, but when he looked down to the cloud, it was transparent, like it�s nothing but air. Then the angel said: �Don�t worry we won�t fall. If we do, I can fly anyways. So it will be your problem.� The boy gave the angel a startled look. The angel laughed, and said: �That was a joke my friend!� Though the angel tried to make the boy happy, the boy was still sad. The boy said sadly: �I know you�re a powerful creature, but please don�t make us your toys.� The angel�s happy face turned to a sad look to the boy. The angel said: �Oh human, I�m not playing with you. I stopped the time to save your life.� �I�m very sorry angel. I misunderstood the events. Thank you very much for saving our lives!� the boy replied. �Don�t thank me human. You deserved to be saved for you knew how to give true and selfless love to other people, but I think you had a mistake; you said �our lives� a while ago.� said the angel. The boy gave the angel a puzzled look and said: �Aren�t you saving me and my girl?� The angel replied: �No, I will�� The boy didn�t give time for the angel to finish his statement. �What!? I thought you�re a good angel! Why would you save me and let my girl die?� shouted the boy. �Oh human! My Lord was right! You really do deserve to be saved! I haven�t seen human love other person like you do. For that, I give you respect.� said the angel and bowed. The angel didn�t please the boy. �Shut up! Answer my question!� said the boy angrily. �My Lord commanded me to save you because you amazed him with your love when you jumped from the mountain to save the life of your loved one. You�re willing to sacrifice your own life for the person you love even though she didn�t love you.� the angel replied. �What did you say? My girl didn�t love me?� said the startled boy. �I am very sorry human, but yes she didn�t love you. When you left the country for a year to work in other country, she had a relationship with your best friend. She got pregnant, but she killed the poor child just before he was born to this world. She loved you because of your money. She thought that when you knew that she had a child with another boy, you wouldn�t marry her. When you arrived in the country, she felt that you loved her so much. She jumped from the top of the mountain because she knew that you will offer her a wedding ring today.� the angel replied. The boy cried and looked at the wedding ring in his pocket. �She didn�t know what to do when you do that because she felt how bad she is and that she�s not the right girl for you.� The boy cried. He loved the girl so much. Though the angel told him how bad the girl, he can�t get angry to the girl. He still loves her. The girl woke up lying on the ground. She looked at her body. She had no injuries, and she�s still alive. She looked around. She didn�t saw the boy. Then, she noticed a ring around her finger. It was very beautiful. She noticed her name and the boy�s name written on the ring. She cried. For three months, she believed that the boy was still alive for hi body wasn�t found anywhere near the mountain. Then on their 5th anniversary, she had a dream; she saw all of the things that happened on the day she jumped from the mountain then the boy talked to her in her dream. �I am happy hear in heaven. Please stop looking for me there in Earth. I want you to know that I love you very much. I know that when I let you die that day, I won�t be able to live my life, but if I die, you would still be able to live your life happily. Please don�t blame yourself because I don�t blame you. I gave you another life, so I want you to use it to serve God. Thank you for everything.� said the boy. As the girl woke up, tears run down from her eyes. She made a difference in the world, and helped many people. The girl died at the age of 83. She died happily, and went to heaven.
