Guess I can't be called PatzCivic anymore if I bought a 2005 Saab 92x Aero!!! I've had it for about four months now. Awesome car. Exact engine as WRX (says "Subaru"!) but with more comfy suspension (still some stiff stuff!!) and a more mature presence. Turbo. AWD. Love it. PatzSaab...signing out.
I'm baaaa-aaack! Training was awesome, but it feels so good to be back in Jersey. Work is crazy, hours are horrible, but at least I'm back in uniform doing what I love. Got my civic back, but seriously looking into the Evo or WRX. We'll see...
Well, everything's finally falling in place. I got a new position with Homeland Security, and I'm leaving for training in GA this week. If you want to know more, check out www.fletc.gov I'll be back in NJ in October. The car's going to my sister for the summer. When I get back, I'm selling the civic and putting a down on a sedan (WRX? A4?...)
happy sixth birthday baby! i got her back last week!!! guess what...we yanked the alarm, and lo and behold, the car started...piece of crap...lol...rolling on steelies and winter tires...she's dirty as hell, been raining a lot lately *sigh* a friend just offered a gsr swap for 2500, w/45k miles on it...500 for install... can't... do... it... must... save... for... wrx!
last week my brother called and told me it was raining really hard down in atlanta. i was wondering why he was telling me this...here's his story: it was raining while he was driving my baby and had to make a right turn...as he finished the turn, there was a big ass puddle in the street that he couldn't avoid...so he ran right through it...first thing i thought when he said this was OMG my intake...then he said he saw the car smoking and pulled over as it died. *sigh* times like this i wonder why i didn't just spend the $40 and get the damn air bypass valve. :( he said he left the car on the side of the road and locked it up and walked to class...later that day he went back to see if it started. it didn't. i'm getting so depressed just writing this. i was kinda in a daze when he told me. he said it was time for a swap. noooo...i don't have money for that right now. but yeah, i'm looking into it. we'll see. i feel like banging up his maxima, lol...j/k that's too evil.
my baby will be six years old soon. i stopped working on her in june 2002, the last addition being the racing seats...i love those things, they're so comfy and fit me just right, hugging every curve...so sweet in turns :) so...i've decided that i'm getting a second car. i know, what am i going to do with two cars, right? one will be my daily driver and one will be my project car. i want the '04 wrx...yum. have you seen the pictures of this thing? they're finally going to redesign it so it doesn't have those ugly big ass neon looking headlamps...nice...bucket seats, a momo steering wheel, not to mention the hp and torque on that baby! all wheel drive...oh man, i'm drooling thinking about it lol...i guess this page has seriously been put on hold...it's not even like i can even get recent pics up, my baby's in atlanta right now...she's been there for a while, and is probably gonna stay there till this summer...in the meantime, i'm just zipping along in a maxima...just replaced the throw out bearing...new clutch too...nice! anyhow...i thought i'd put a few thoughts up on here...nothing new. thinking about redoing the layout...what do you think?
well, what can i say, it's been officially five years since i bought my civic stock, in may of 1997...can you believe it...blood, sweat and tears (not to mention time and money) poured into my baby...and it's still not close to what i want her to be...it's crazy, but i almost sold her last winter...almost cheated on her with a beautiful turbo awd eclipse...yup, the 1991 gsx...mmmm...but no, i'm keeping her and still slowly but surely modifying her bit by bit...she hasn't been as much a priority lately because other things take up your time and money when you reach old age :) but i'll always have love for modified imports, even if i do eventually sell or trade her in...how can you not? sorry for the old pics, haven't updated them in two years, but you can view my mods under the modifications page...hit me up on the guestbook or email if you get a chance...i'm always open to comments or criticisms
