I have travelled more the past three years in my own country than I ever had before, largely due to business travel. Each time I went to a trade show somewhere, I would try to take an extra day or two for relaxation. I'll add pictures as I go here, but I've included a few of my favorites.
I discovered the North Shore of Lake Superior a few years ago, and since then have spent at least one long weekend there each year. The Lutsen area is my favorite - actually, from Temperance River State Park just south of Lutsen to Grand Marais. These pictures don't come close to doing it justice. It's one of my favorite places in the world.

Every couple of years I have to get my mountain fix, usually in the Estes Park area of Colorado. I first got to know Estes Park through attending a Christian Artists seminar there on three different occasions. Two years ago I went just for play, and stayed in a wonderful little condo at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park. The mountains do my soul good, and inspire the muse in me.

Between Christmas and New Years 1996 I spent a wonderful time on St. Simon's Island just off the Georgia coast. My work situation was in turmoil, my heart was broken from a relationship issue, and I just needed a place to think and to heal. This was the right place! I spent hours walking the beach and enjoying the quiet beauty of this place.

The remaining pictures are miscellaneous scenes, one taken in Chicago, where I attended three different trade shows, and one in Arizona, where I attended several trade shows and also visited with my sister in Scottsdale.
