The friends pictured here are a potpouri of people I've met in various places, but primarily through the College of St. Benedict, which I attended from 1973-1977, and People of Praise, the Christian covenant community that I belonged to for many years. They have played a major part in my life.
The first picture below shows some of my best college friends at the College of St. Benedict, where I graduated in 1977. I got so caught up in my own affairs after college that I lost contact with these women, but we had some special times. The picture below is taken in a dorm room very similar to mine freshman and sophomore year.
I also had the privilege of living with the Rosener family in Minneapolis for five years in the early 1980's. The second picture below shows the women I lived with there. I still count these women among my dearest friends. Mary (lower right) was born while I lived there. She is now a young lady, taller than her mother!

A little over five years ago I moved into a house in St. Paul with Mary Jo Koplos, shown below. Although I now have my own place, the years sharing a home with Mary Jo were great! Mary Jo and the other women in the two pictures below have been among my more recent friends. All of us have gone through changes recently, and we may not see each other as much as we'd like, but they mean a lot to me.
