He also goes to schools and events to help teach the people about animals.
He loves to be out and about. And HE KNOWS how wonderful he is :-)

| Cocoa Puff is a Barred Owl. He was a victim of power lines and lost a wing. He loves to sit on his perch at the Center and watches everything that is going on.. He also goes to schools and events to help teach the people about animals. He loves to be out and about. And HE KNOWS how wonderful he is :-) |

| Pumpkin is an Eastern Screech Owl. She was hit by a truck. When they got home, they found her on the grill. She had head trauma and eye damage and cannot see well enough to hunt in the wild. She is used as a program bird to educate the public. She lives with Sugar and Spice (other screech owls.with eye damage). They are also used to teach baby screech owl what they need before being released. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Freckles is a Barn Owl. She has a wing fracture and cannot be released. She was imported to Florida from another state illegally. It was finally resolved that she could live her life at the Center rather than be destroyed. She goes to schools and events for educational programs and sometimes fosters baby barn owls. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Goldie is a Great Horned Owl. He is imprinted to a size 10 to 12 white men's tennis shoe. When birds first focus their eyes, the first thing they see clearly they think is their mother. Since Goldie has a 500 pound per square inch talon strength, this is a dangerous misconception, He would be a danger to people if released and other birds seem to sense the imprint and would kill him. | |||||||||||||||||||||
